Wyoming was the 44th state in the USA; it became a state on July 10, 1890. It is the least populous state, with two thirds of the state mostly within mountain ranges of the Eastern Rocky Mountains. Located in the states capital of Cheyenne, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base is the oldest continuously active military instillations within the Air Force.
