Ohio was the 17th state in the USA; it became a state on March 1, 1803. Seven of our US presidents were born in Ohio making it second to Virginia’s eight, known as “Mother of Presidents”. In 1914 the nations first traffic light was installed in the city of Cleveland, the same city that is home to the famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The police car was originated in the city of Akron in 1889.
