Massachusetts was the 6th state in the USA; it became a state on February 6, 1788. Known as “America’s Hometown”, Plymouth was the site of the colony founded by the Pilgrims in 1620. It’s where the docking of the famous ship the Mayflower first recognized New England. Boston, one of the oldest cities in the US, is most known for The Boston Massacre and The Boston Tea Party, during the time when Paul Revere made his legendary midnight ride. 1692, America’s most infamous cases of mass hysteria were created with the Salem Witch Trials.
