"The Aloha State"

Hawaii was the 50th state in the USA; it became a state on August 21, 1959. It’s the only state that is exclusively made up of islands. These islands were formed from volcanic activity. Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe and Hawaii are its eight main islands. Hawaii is one of two states that doesn’t observe daylight savings time, the other being Arizona.
