This Black North Carolina State Bear stuffed bear travel souvenir is embroidered with it’s states name replacing the “O” with a bear paw. This is one of the newest edition to the Souvies line of plush bears.

The state of North Carolina and all of the eastern United States are home to the American Black Bear. This black bear is the only bear species found in this part of the US and is also the most common of the bear species. They live in the forest and generally wander out to hunt for food. They are about 2½ too 3 feet tall in height. Their weight is constantly different depending on lots of factors such as age, sex, and season. Males can weigh from a range of 250 lbs to over 600 lbs. and females range from 90 lbs to over 300 lbs.

Each Souvies state bear travel souvenir measures about eight inches in height, head to paw, and seven inches wide, paw to paw.

Las Vegas has over 62,000 hotel rooms for visitors to the city of lights, The “Silver State” got its nickname from the discovery of the Comstock Lode in 1859 which was the largest discovery of silver ore in the US. Nevada is also home to two beautiful National Parks; Great Basin National Park and Death Valley National Park, as well as Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Nevada has 24 state parks, recreation areas, and historic sites that offer a wide variety of recreation options.
